This calculator determines the kv value for a desired flow rate. For safety reasons, the valve selected should have a value 30% above this which we have calculated for you as the kvs-valve. Once determined look at the valves datasheet to identify the best size. Please note decimal values can only be entered with a dot.

Correct valve sizing is important when selecting a pressure reducing valve, helping to ensure suitable flow performance and reliable pressure control within the system. Once the required Kv and Kvs values have been calculated, these can be compared against the relevant Berluto valve datasheet to help identify the most appropriate valve model and size.
